Zack Gutierrez is the Founder and driving force behind Colonel Tom’s Quality Painting. In 2016, he launched the company with a strong work ethic, and a vision to build a painting and renovation company known for reliability, craftsmanship, and integrity.
Through relentless effort and a commitment to doing things the right way, Zack has grown this family-owned company into a respected name in the industry, completing large-scale commercial and residential projects in more than 20 states across the United States.
Originally from Gwinnett County, Georgia and now based in Alabama, Zack brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial drive and grounded, small-town values to every project. His leadership style is highly hands-on, and he is known for staying closely involved in both operations and client relationships to ensure projects are executed with precision and accountability.
Zack has built a reputation for innovative project execution, efficient problem solving, and the ability to lead teams through complex, high-demand projects. Whether overseeing multi-state operations or working directly with clients and crews in the field, he approaches every challenge with the same mindset that built the company from the ground up: deliver exceptional results and stand behind every commitment.

President
Brandy Gutierrez is a driven businesswoman, community leader, and dedicated wife and mother. Her leadership bring both vision and heart to Colonel Tom’s Quality Painting. Having owned and operated several successful businesses, she brings over 15 years of entrepreneurial experience, strategic thinking, and operational leadership to the company. Her ability to build strong teams, develop meaningful client relationships, and execute long-term business strategies makes her an invaluable force behind the company’s continued growth.
Known for her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence, Brandy approaches every opportunity with determination and a passion for helping businesses and people succeed. Lee Powell
Construction & Sales Leadership
Lee Powell brings more than 20 years of experience across multiple sectors of the construction industry, including residential and commercial construction, power infrastructure, and large-scale project management. His extensive background in the field, combined with his ability to build strong client relationships, makes him an integral part of both project execution and business development at Colonel Tom’s Quality Painting.
Over the course of his career, Lee has developed a deep understanding of construction processes, site coordination, and operational efficiency. His experience allows him to evaluate projects with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset while ensuring that each job is delivered with the quality and attention to detail clients expect from Colonel Tom’s Quality Painting.
In addition to his construction expertise, Lee plays a key role in the company’s sales and client development efforts. Outside of work, Lee is a devoted husband and father. He and his wife have been married for 10 years and are proud parents to three beautiful children.
